Golf with a Splash of Yellow and a Twist of Floats Adds Up to Miracles for Maine Kids

Don your favorite shade of yellow and join us for the first ever Play Yellow Fore Miracles Golf Classic on Friday, July 16 at Hermon Meadow Golf Club in Hermon. Our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ program has long hosted the annual CMN Hospitals Golf Classic, and this year we’re changing it up to bring the Play Yellow movement to northern Maine.

Play Yellow is a movement led by Jack and Barbara Nicklaus, the PGA Tour, and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, to bring the entire golf world together to support kids and their families who are receiving care at the 170 member hospitals in the United States and Canada. Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is a proud member hospital, and its golfers and charity tournaments like Play Yellow, that make it possible for the hospital to purchase the life-saving therapies, highly-specialized medical equipment, advanced training for staff, research, and patient assistance needed to care for kids, as close to home as Bangor.

And, an extra special treat – our friends from the Courtyard by Marriott and the Marriott TownePlace Suites in Bangor will be on hand to serve up their famous Root Beer Floats! We’re so grateful to Marriott for joining us in the Play Yellow movement in Bangor.
